From March 1 to March 3, 2018, εεour managing partner Henry φα•×Liao attended the 2018 annual meetingε₩♦ of International Board of Adv ​₹σisors (“IBA”) of McGeorge School of L↔↓γβaw, the University of Paci$×Ω§fic, which was held &≈in Sacramento, California. Over 2‌σ★0 members of the IBA α♣ from all over the world atte₹≠'nded this meeting.

Given the investigatio±λαn into Russian interf♥✔erence with the 2016 US election do♦★ minates the news recently, a symposium ✘β←was held on the topic “Foreign Inter→δ$ference with Elections” before ♠λ​the IBA meeting. Leading experts exploφ£red the legitimacy of×β foreign interference wi←÷€♣th elections from the ₽€×respects of both international and dome≈↔stic laws. One of the presenters poin​≈ted it out that US had interfered wi ‍th foreign elections fβ♠or a long time. The conferenc→φ ≤e also discussed the ways to pre☆♦£vent future foreign inte←✔•rference with the US π¶₽elections. It seems, however, th®π≥→at no bipartisan agreements coul≤≠d be reached in the ne<↕αar future.

After the symposium, the memb÷×ers of the IBA carried on with their✘✘"Ω board meeting to review<  the past events of IBA and upda∞≤σte the news and the coming programs>α★ to be held. What’s ₽≤ more, Henry shared his experien☆¶₩ce and provided guidance on leg€αal career for the students in t" γ↔he part of “Transnational C♦$✔areers for McGeorge Students”, a≈Ωnd his sharing was welcomed by the stu×≤dents with lots of questions an €£d communications.

As a member of IBA of McGeorg‌'e School of Law, Henry attended €•Ωthe annual meeting every year, making γ‌‌<efforts to promote the communi↓®↓→cation with the counterparts f"​rom other countries onδε the transnational laws an∑α∞d legal practice, as well©‍¥ as provide suggestions to Mcgeorg± ∑e on how to improve its ranking and gu♣§idance for the law school studβ∞ents on their legal care"♣© ers.
